about me

Susan: I'm a full-time wife and mom, full-time occupational therapy student and part-time church secretary, living in the beautiful Roanoke Valley. I believe life (and that which gives life) is beautiful, but I sometimes struggle to notice! So this is my attempt to pay attention and document the bright life I find around and within (and sometimes the darkness as well).

Explanation of my own prayer language: In my writing and personal devotion I refer to The Great I Am as "God/dess" because I believe He/She encompasses both the masculine and feminine, and I need to remind myself that the feminine is just as important.
